Marie-Ange Faugérolas is an award-winning French author, speaker and screenwriter. She is best known for her best-selling historical novel Conspiracy on the Nile released throughout Europe in 1996. Following her popular and critically acclaimed novel, Marie-Ange released more than 13 books, ranging from epic period piece, historical romance, supernatural drama, suspense as well as self-help, esoteric and spiritual non-fictions.
In 2003, Marie-Ange Faugérolas won the Jury Award of the Literary Prize organized by the Ministry of Interior of France in association with the National Gendarmerie for Le Quadrille des Épatants. Her biography of Théophile Gautier: l’homme des femmes won the Award of Excellence at the Étretat Literary competition and is featured in the libraries of universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown and Cambridge (UK) as the book of reference on the romantic life of Gautier.
Marie-Ange teamed with France’s most prestigious publishing houses included JC Lattès, Pygmalion-Flammarion and l’Harmattan before releasing 2012: Le Livre des Révélations (2012: The Book of Revelations), La Bible des Anges (The Bible of Angels), Tarot de Marseille and Les Anges de l’Amour (Angels of Love) with Montréal based ADA Publishing. In 2014, Marie-Ange wrote the screenplays of Alice and The Tsarevich two short-films
nominated at Academy-Awards® and BAFTA® qualifying film festivals.
The same year, Marie-Ange Faugérolas joined the world’s largest English language trade publisher when signing to Penguin Random House’s imprint Tarcher. Her spiritual book Angels: The Definitive Guide to Angels from Around the World was published in November, 2015. For the promotion of her books, she appeared on France’s top television and radio channels including TF1, France 2, Radio France Inter, Europe 1 and RTL.
A mother of five, she currently lives in Los Angeles where she writes her novels and screenplays while frequently visiting her native Paris. Marie-Ange was named by her beloved grandmother after a popular Corsican name meaning Mary Angel, opening the way to what became a life filled with spirituality.
